Project Associate – Data Cleanup

About the role

The Project Associate – Data Cleanup will support the accurate maintenance of member and employer contribution records, ensuring compliance and timely benefit payments. This 2‑year contract position focuses on resolving anomalies, reconciling payments, and updating KYC information.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile unbalanced and misposted payments/returns to update employer and member contribution records.
• Engage employers with unposted or unbalanced returns, ensuring they upload required data.
• Retrieve, reconstruct, and post/unbalanced and unpaid returns for periods employers cannot file.
• Escalate unresponsive employers to superiors for further action.
• Resolve stray, multiple, missing contributions and other service requests.
• Identify and receipt all unallocated EFT and RTGS transactions.
• Resolve duplicate or provisional registrations and other register anomalies.
• Update missing KYC details on employer and member accounts.
• Provide end‑of‑day status updates and suggest performance improvements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Grade 12 Certificate with at least five ‘O’ level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Social Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in maintaining member/employer contributions and KYC records, preferably in the public‑sector pension industry.
