Sales Consultant (Livestock Products)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team at the Lusaka Showgrounds. The role focuses on promoting and selling livestock‑related products and services to farmers and agribusinesses across Zambia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers in the poultry, dairy, beef and swine sectors.
• Present and sell veterinary medicines, feeds, equipment and other agricultural products.
• Provide technical advice on correct usage of animal‑health products.
• Maintain and develop long‑term relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture or a related field.
• Technical knowledge of livestock production systems (poultry, dairy, beef, swine).
• Understanding of sales and marketing principles for agricultural products.
• Strong customer relationship and communication abilities.
• ZAQA‑verified qualifications (mandatory).
