Security Operations Support Specialist

About the role

The Security Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of bussing services, main‑gate security, and operational support to the Security department. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient movement of employees and acts as the primary point of contact for gate‑related incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor all site bussing activities, including scheduled transport and ad‑hoc movements.
• Manage bussing contractors, enforce contract terms, safety standards and verify invoices.
• Develop bussing strategies aligned with shift models and headcount changes.
• Oversee main‑gate operations: access control, visitor management, ID issuance and compliance with security protocols.
• Serve as the senior operational presence at the gate, escalating incidents and communicating with onsite management.
• Track contractor performance, manage KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational oversight of transport or security services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret route data and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between contractors, security teams and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and able to enforce compliance with safety and security standards.

Required skills

• Contract management and KPI monitoring.
• Knowledge of access‑control procedures and visitor management.
• Experience with invoicing verification and cost control.
