Seed Processing Operator (Level X4)

About the role

Setting up and operating the various equipment in seed processing areas to ensure optimal output that meets quality standards. The role includes handling dryers, shellers, fine cleaners, color sorters and seed treaters, as well as supporting warehouse activities during processing shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report KPIs in TIER meetings and ensure measurement and analysis to meet daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals.
• Lead HSE efforts according to ISO 45001 and Bayer safety standards, including risk assessments, job safety analysis and safety observations.
• Operate and set‑up equipment such as dryers, bin trucks, tipper trucks, forklifts, cleaners, sorters, treaters, baggers and aspirators.
• Maintain product flow through all processing stages and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects to drive cost savings and OEE improvements.
• Maintain housekeeping according to 5S standards and keep visual management boards up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• 2–7 years of experience in plant operations and engineering, preferably in seed processing.
• Valid CE driver’s licence and forklift certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly self‑motivated with a proven record of project management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows OS.
• Forklift operation.
• Tipper truck driving.
