Skilled Carpenter – On‑site Role in Lusaka

About the role

Agrofuel Limited is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its on‑site construction team in Lusaka. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing wooden structures across a variety of energy and construction‑support projects, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layouts.
• Measure, cut, and assemble structural components such as frames, formwork, and finish carpentry elements.
• Install doors, windows, trims, and other detailed woodwork.
• Maintain and organize hand and power tools, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project milestones.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural and finish carpentry.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Effective teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Relevant trade certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training is preferred.
