Electrician – Packaging Line Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our shift team and support the operation and maintenance of a high‑speed packaging line. You will apply your electrical artisan expertise to keep the line running safely and efficiently while collaborating with planners and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in maintenance planning meetings and provide input on required work.
• Execute scheduled, routine, and opportunistic maintenance tasks according to the planner’s schedule.
• Record all maintenance activities and updates in the COSWIN system.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of equipment as per the maintenance plan.
• Diagnose and repair running faults, ensuring issues are fully resolved.
• Assist teammates during planned maintenance windows and provide standby support on day shifts.
• Analyse machine performance, conduct loss and waste analysis, and develop improvement action plans.
• Escalate complex problems to the Engineering Controller or call‑in additional resources when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an electrical artisan in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in shift patterns and provide on‑site support.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to contribute to post‑maintenance reviews.
• Good communication skills to interact with planners, engineers, and shift teams.

Required skills

• Electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Use of COSWIN maintenance software.
• Machine fault diagnosis and corrective repair.
• Preventive maintenance procedures (cleaning, lubrication, inspection).
• Loss and waste analysis for performance improvement.
