Prestige Customer Service Advisor

About the role

The Prestige Customer Service Advisor works in a branch environment, delivering cash and related transactions to walk‑in Prestige or Premier banking customers while providing high‑quality customer service. This role is central to ensuring accurate, compliant handling of cash, cheques, drafts and other financial instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and receive cash, cheques, drafts and other instruments, verifying all details according to bank procedures.
• Process foreign currency cheques and bureau de change transactions, including buying and selling notes.
• Refer transactions exceeding teller limits or any concerns to the Branch Manager for authorization.
• Capture all transactions in the bank’s system and ensure proper authorisation before processing.
• Count cash accurately, adhering to the bank’s zero‑tolerance policy for errors.
• Assist customers with completing transaction documentation such as deposit and withdrawal slips.
• Process debit/credit card applications, replacements, and issue cards, cheque books, PIN numbers, and statements.
• Update account demographics, standing orders, and file customer instructions.
• Provide advice on cash processes and resolve customer enquiries.
