Electrical Artisan

About the role

AB InBev is looking for an Electrical Artisan to join its Maltings site in Zambia. The role focuses on providing specialised artisan skills to support operations, maintenance and problem‑solving activities within a fast‑moving consumer goods production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and comply with health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Maintain, repair and optimise plant equipment and associated devices.
• Plan, prepare and execute repair and maintenance jobs.
• Locate plant equipment, spares and relevant documentation.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to optimise productivity, quality, delivery, cost and safety.
• Use root‑cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone diagram, Pareto chart, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to solve problems.
• Communicate effectively within teams and contribute to self‑ and team‑development.

Required profile

• Strong self‑management and people‑handling abilities.
• High mental alertness with analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Conceptual thinking and ability to act as a subject‑matter expert in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, continuous improvement and application of VPO principles.
