Lead – Trade Marketing

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia (CCBZ) is seeking a Lead – Trade Marketing to join its Commercial team in Lusaka. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Growth & Trade Marketing, the role will drive trade‑marketing initiatives across the Zambian market, supporting the company’s position as a leading Coca‑Cola bottler in Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade‑marketing strategies that increase product visibility and sales in retail channels.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor trade promotions, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, supply‑chain and finance teams to optimise product placement, pricing and inventory management.
• Analyse market data and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust tactics.
• Manage trade‑marketing budgets, track ROI and report performance to senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor a small team of trade‑marketing professionals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in trade‑marketing, preferably within the FMCG or beverage sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional projects or teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
