Commercial Lead

About the role

The Commercial Lead will drive the franchising strategy for Jibu in Zambia, guiding franchise owners to meet growth targets while upholding Jibu standards. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role operates autonomously and focuses on commercial performance, operational excellence, and brand development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and act on opportunities to increase volume sales across all franchise stores.
• Support the Franchisee Development Manager in setting goals, targets, and training plans.
• Assist franchise operations teams in implementing procedures that improve efficiency and control production variances.
• Maintain the Volume Dashboard, handling planning and forecasting activities.
• Lead franchise development, ensuring high performance and profitability of each franchise.
• Conduct formal performance reviews, develop work‑plans, and monitor compliance with Jibu standards.
• Analyze financial information, product mix, and pricing to drive store growth and profitability.
• Perform sample audits, facilitate training modules, and submit regular reports to senior management.
• Oversee budgeting items and ensure adherence to SOPs, quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with experience in franchise or multi‑unit business management.
• Ability to coach and motivate franchise owners toward set targets.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial performance analysis and forecasting.
• High level of autonomy, integrity, and problem‑solving capability.
