Data, Economic & Impact Analyst (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost”. The project aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the EU in the space sector. We are looking for a qualified Non‑Key Expert to provide data and economic analysis, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, evidence synthesis, indicator monitoring and results reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data and economic analyses, including statistical modelling and trend identification, to inform programme decisions and policy recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate programme indicators, collect and validate data, and produce regular performance and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Carry out impact assessments, synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence, and prepare evidence‑based briefs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations, ensuring timely results reporting and data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three years of study) in statistics, economics, data analytics, social sciences or a related discipline.
• At least three years of professional experience in data analysis, economic analysis, surveys, reporting or indicator monitoring, preferably in international development or space‑related projects.
• Minimum one year of experience supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) or impact assessment, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, evidence synthesis, data compilation and preparation of dashboards or performance reports.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is considered an asset.
