Logistics and Warehouse Specialist – Renewable (Zambia)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a highly organized Logistics and Warehouse Specialist to lead inventory, warehouse, and distribution operations for its renewable initiatives in Zambia. You will ensure that agricultural inputs reach farmers accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory storage, handling, and monthly reconciliations across all warehouse locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute distribution from modelling to last‑mile delivery, tracking delivery KPIs.
• Create daily and weekly transport plans, manage third‑party transport providers, and maintain route maps.
• Support and develop the logistics team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and proactive mindset.
• Experience managing warehouse operations and transport coordination.
• Ability to lead a team and build capability.
• Analytical skills to monitor metrics such as shrinkage, variance, and reporting timelines.
