Marketing Specialist – Market Research & Product Positioning

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will drive market research, monitor competitor activity, and gather customer insights to support product positioning and promotional strategies. Working closely with product, sales, and market teams, the role ensures new products are effectively introduced and promoted.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market visits at least twice per week to understand customer needs and buying behavior.
• Analyze competing products and deliver weekly reports on market trends and competitor updates.
• Monitor importer product updates and identify new market opportunities.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
• Assist in creating promotional materials, product presentations, and marketing content using Photoshop and PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with product and sales teams on new product launches and market introductions.
• Organise weekly meetings with international teams to share marketing updates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for product managers, sales, and market teams.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders via email.

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, market research, or product marketing.
• Experience in building materials or tile products is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
