Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to increase private‑sector involvement in space, geospatial and technology projects.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify commercial opportunities.
• Provide business support, matchmaking and facilitation services for companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
• Promote access to finance and investment for innovative space‑related ventures.
• Collaborate with European and African partners to foster institutional partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, matchmaking and commercialisation.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
