Product Design Specialist

About the role

The Product Design Specialist will lead the end‑to‑end development of new products, from market research and concept creation through factory coordination, sample production and customer feedback. The role ensures innovative, market‑driven solutions are delivered on schedule and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with factories and product managers to align development and production schedules.
• Conduct market visits at least twice weekly to capture customer needs and emerging design trends.
• Research and develop new product concepts based on market demand.
• Prepare design survey reports and coordinate the creation of new product samples.
• Oversee the full product development cycle, including design research, factory proofing, sample development, physical product evaluation, research reporting, customer feedback collection, product modifications, production scheduling and factory progress monitoring.
• Organise weekly meetings with international product teams and submit regular reports to product, sales and market teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in product design or product development.
• Professional knowledge of tiles or building materials is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
