Project Lead – Global Fund Sustainable and Integrated Data Systems

About the role
PATH is seeking a Project Lead to drive the Sustainable and Integrated Data Systems project funded by the Global Fund. The role provides strategic leadership, serves as the primary liaison with the Global Fund, ministries and partners, and oversees multi‑country planning and implementation across Zambia, Ghana and Senegal.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development of project strategy and implementation from inception to completion.
- Oversee a matrixed team of project staff in three countries to deliver on workplans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, reporting to donor and government counterparts.
- Represent the project in meetings with key partners, government officials and stakeholders.
- Manage the project budget in compliance with donor and PATH requirements.
- Lead the preparation of project and donor reports.
- Facilitate cross‑country learning on digital health and data system integration.
- Coordinate with global PATH teams (MACEPA, STRIDES) to ensure efficient technical assistance.
- Document lessons learned, best practices and success stories.
- Support recruitment of embedded technical assistance in each project country.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading multi‑country health data or digital health projects.
- Strong background in donor‑funded project management and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with ministries, partners and donors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with local partners, NGOs and government agencies.
