Project Manager II – UNICEF Social Accountability (EC4HD)

About the role

ChildFund is seeking a Manager II, Project to lead the technical oversight of the UNICEF Social Accountability component of the EC4HD Programme in Zambia. This three‑month fixed‑term position will ensure high‑impact implementation, compliance with donor guidelines, and alignment with ChildFund’s values of transparency and ethical practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership and strategic oversight for the social accountability intervention across ten target districts.
• Work closely with technical staff, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure transparent and ethical program delivery.
• Ensure plans are executed within the approved budget and in line with donor and ChildFund policies.
• Identify contract‑compliance risks proactively and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the co‑creation of tools and strategies, strengthen inter‑sectoral coordination, and oversee capacity‑development efforts.

• Demonstrated ability to manage project risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Commitment to ChildFund’s zero‑tolerance policy on sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment.
