Sales Executive – Education Division (National Sales Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to lead the Education Division as National Sales Manager. The role focuses on building relationships with schools across Zambia, promoting our client’s textbooks and educational materials, and aligning product offerings with the Zambian curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire school clients nationwide.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and education policies to identify opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with headteachers, curriculum coordinators and purchasing managers.
• Visit schools regularly to understand needs, address concerns and showcase product ranges.
• Stay informed on the Zambian curriculum and collaborate with product development to customise materials.
• Recruit, train and lead a high‑performing sales team focused on the education sector.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports and use data to refine strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of successful sales management experience, preferably in education.
• Previous teaching experience and knowledge of the Zambian curriculum is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the country.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and strong computer skills.
