Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

About the role

The client is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and security of critical IT systems. The role involves managing both physical and virtual environments, supporting deployment projects, and maintaining high‑availability services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor activities with ISPs, telecom providers, and third‑party services.
• Lead LAN, surveillance, and server deployment projects.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Administer VMware virtualization platforms and manage SAN/NAS storage.
• Implement backup solutions and oversee disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Install and configure CCTV systems, including NVRs and remote viewing.
• Manage Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and license contracts.
• Monitor network performance, address security vulnerabilities, and ensure 99%+ uptime.
• Perform routine maintenance such as firmware upgrades, OS patching, and antivirus updates.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in networking, server administration, and virtualization.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with internal teams and external vendors.
• Operational discipline with a focus on proactive monitoring and documentation.
