Superintendent Management Accountant (Power BI)

About the role

First Quantum is seeking a Superintendent Management Accountant to lead the transformation of its management reporting through advanced Power BI solutions. The role will work closely with business improvement teams, cost accountants and various departments to ensure accurate, timely financial information that supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Power BI for business management reporting.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Gather reporting requirements from multiple departments and customise solutions accordingly.
• Train and support departmental teams in effective use of Power BI tools.
• Integrate cost data from cost accountants into Power BI reports and ensure accurate cost presentation.
• Collaborate with the business improvement team to identify and drive efficiency opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all reporting activities.
