Technical Services Manager

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will provide strategic leadership for the engineering domain within a brewery environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment and system integrity, driving engineering initiatives, and maintaining compliance with standards and legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering management, including plant asset care budgeting and financial oversight.
• Establish and develop a capacitance engineering capability and oversee engineering projects from planning to execution.
• Ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and legal regulations across all engineering activities.
• Manage the F&E function, site engineering, maintenance, engineering stores, and procurement.
• Drive risk management programs covering occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Lead the engineering team, set goals, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of ownership and empowerment.
• Identify training needs, develop competency plans, and promote cross‑skilling within the team.
• Maintain system integrity, change control, and calibration of site instrumentation.
• Implement maintenance strategies, failure analysis processes, and spares management aligned with VPO and GOP frameworks.
• Oversee small site projects, ensuring timely and on‑budget delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering management within an industrial or production setting, preferably in the beverage sector.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, standards, and relevant legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills.
