Technology Transfer Officer – Government Agency

About the role

The National Technology Business Centre (NTBC) seeks a qualified Technology Transfer Officer to facilitate the adoption and commercialisation of proven technologies across Zambian industry. The role focuses on bridging the gap between research outcomes and market implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pilot innovative technologies to enable commercial uptake.
• Provide advisory services for product development of home‑grown innovations.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of available technologies to improve accessibility for entrepreneurs.

Required profile

• Full Form V/Grade 12 certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Paid‑up membership of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
• Minimum of three years relevant experience.
• All academic and professional qualifications must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority.
