About the role

We are looking for a proactive Building Materials Sales Specialist to drive sales of construction products, understand client needs and achieve targets. The role involves building strong relationships with customers and supporting the sales team in a dynamic market.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify customer requirements, recommend appropriate building materials and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships through visits, calls and emails.
  • Negotiate terms, close deals and ensure accurate sales reporting.
  • Collect market information, clarify pricing, stock availability and delivery schedules for clients.
  • Monitor inventory, record sales data and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Support team members and adhere to company policies, KPIs and asset management procedures.
  • Review personal performance and complete additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in building materials or construction.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
