Civil Site Supervisor – Substation Works

About the role

Zutari is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to lead civil construction activities for substation works on a high‑voltage project. The role focuses on daily site supervision, contractor performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications while supporting safe, high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works on substation sites.
• Monitor contractor workmanship, progress, and adherence to project requirements.
• Review site progress, identify risks, delays, or non‑conformances.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Oversee key civil activities and verify quality control practices, including inspections and testing.
• Uphold site health and safety requirements.
• Maintain daily site records and contribute to weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site issues.
• Verify quantities, site records, and completed works for reporting and certification.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning preparation, and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a civil supervision role on substation projects.
• Strong understanding of civil quality control, HSE compliance, and contractor supervision.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
