About the role

The Construction Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects supported by Christian Blind Mission (CBM) in Zambia. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures projects meet quality standards, comply with regulations, stay within budget and are completed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate construction and infrastructure works from inception to hand‑over.
Monitor project quality, safety and accessibility standards.
Control costs and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, government authorities and implementing partners.
Safeguard CBM’s investment by tracking progress and mitigating risks.

Required profile

Strong technical expertise in construction project coordination.
Proven capacity in contract management.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
