Data Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Data Reporting Analyst will work on‑site in Lusaka, supporting Gatbro’s sales, distribution and key‑account teams. You will gather, validate and analyse operational, sales and inventory data from multiple internal systems. The role focuses on turning raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from ERP, sales and inventory systems.
• Validate data quality, clean and structure datasets for reporting.
• Design, maintain and automate dashboards and regular reports using BI tools.
• Identify trends, variances and key performance indicators across the supply chain.
• Present findings to management and non‑technical stakeholders in a concise format.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine reporting requirements and improve data processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex datasets and generate business recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with FMCG, distribution or supply‑chain data is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, organized and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for presenting insights to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience using Power BI or Tableau (or similar business‑intelligence tools).
• Solid data‑management skills including data gathering, cleaning and validation.
