Exams Invigilator – Lusaka & Kitwe

About the role

The British Council is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to support the delivery of UK qualifications across its test venues in Lusaka and Kitwe. You will work closely with venue staff and British Council exam teams to ensure a smooth, secure, and professional test day experience for candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the test venue at the agreed time and notify supervisors of any delays.
• Follow all British Council and exam board procedures, including security and emergency protocols.
• Monitor candidates throughout the examination to prevent any breaches of test conditions.
• Assist supervisors in providing a positive candidate experience and uphold the Council’s reputation.
• Securely handle and account for all examination materials before, during, and after the test.
• Complete accurate records, logs, and reports as required.
