Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

LendGo is building the future of digital lending and financial inclusion across Africa. As a founding Chief Technology Officer, you will shape the technology vision, create scalable AI‑powered lending products, and lead a high‑performing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute LendGo’s technology roadmap and platform architecture.
• Make strategic decisions on infrastructure, cloud platforms, and technology stack.
• Recruit, build, and lead engineering and data teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, warehouses, and real‑time analytics.
• Integrate banking, mobile‑money, credit‑bureau, and alternative data sources.
• Automate lending workflows, KYC, compliance, collections, and customer support.
• Develop credit‑scoring, risk‑assessment, fraud‑detection, and loan‑performance models.
• Implement AI decision engines and generative AI applications while ensuring ethical AI practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of software, data engineering, AI or machine‑learning experience.
• 3+ years in senior technology leadership, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record of building and scaling technology products.
