Graduate Trainee Programme – Banking Operations

About the role

Indo Zambia Bank Limited is seeking dynamic recent graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme in Banking Operations. Trainees will support branch networks across Zambia by handling administrative, operational and clerical tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in loan processing, reporting and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Screen loan applications according to risk criteria.
• Prepare loan performance, monthly returns and other regulatory reports.
• Follow up on non‑performing loans and support retail/SME teams in business development.
• Achieve account opening and alternative channel distribution targets.
• Receive, process and file documents accurately and timely.
• Enter and update data in the bank’s systems and databases.
• Handle internal and external customer queries professionally.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operational activities such as photocopying and scanning.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
• Participate in compliance reviews and audits.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with credit in at least five subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, IT or a related field.
• Age between 20 and 27 years.
• Relevant banking qualifications, experience or professional membership is an advantage.
