About the role

The Head of Mission will lead Norwegian Church Aid’s operations in Zambia, overseeing the implementation of the 2025‑2029 country strategy which aims to save lives, build community resilience and promote justice. This senior position combines advocacy, long‑term development and emergency assistance to strengthen civil society and advance social justice.

Key responsibilities

Implement the 2025‑2029 country strategy for Zambia.
Lead advocacy, development and emergency assistance programmes.
Strengthen civil society organisations and promote active participation in development.
Uphold and protect the dignity of people in line with NCA’s mission.

Required profile

Accomplished leader with a passion for social justice.
Experience in civil‑society strengthening and sustainable development.
