Loan Officer – Multiple Locations

About the role

Fair Choice Finance Limited, a licensed Zambian micro‑finance institution, is expanding its loan operations across four branches. We are looking for motivated, detail‑oriented Loan Officers to join our team at Lusaka, Mazabuka, and Ndola. In this role you will verify loan applications, maintain accurate records, and deliver high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Verify loan application documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with lending requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of loan applications, repayments, closures, and related customer documentation.
• Collect and validate customer financial information to support credit assessments.
• Assist in processing and tracking loan applications efficiently.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure proper filing and secure custody of loan documentation.
• Uphold confidentiality of customer information and company records.
• Support the Loan Operations Department in achieving operational excellence.

Required profile

• Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.
• Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in banking, micro‑finance, or financial services.
• High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
