Manager Enterprise - Women and Youth

About the role

Absa is seeking a Manager Enterprise – Women and Youth to lead its Enterprise Banking team. The role focuses on driving acquisition, retention and expansion of enterprise clients while embedding a strong sales culture.

Key responsibilities

• Align Enterprise Banking with the overall Business Banking sales strategy and communicate updates to the team.
• Develop and monitor 90‑day plans to embed strategy and achieve financial year sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk standards across the sales team.
• Build and maintain skilled, positive teams to deliver on strategy and targets.
• Oversee Relationship and Sales Managers to create client‑centric solutions and monitor client feedback, retention and retrieval.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and sector specialists to create business plans that drive sustainable balance‑sheet growth.
• Implement tactical and strategic change initiatives within the Enterprise area.
• Measure financial and sales performance using relevant sales information and drive initiatives to secure client growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise banking or commercial sales teams.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to manage compliance, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team‑development skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with experience in client retention strategies.
