Merchandiser – Point of Purchase & Shelf Management

About the role
We are looking for energetic Merchandisers to join a leading global healthcare and crop‑science company operating across Zambia. In this role you will drive sales by providing point‑of‑purchase assistance and managing product displays on retail shelves.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute merchandising strategies that align customer expectations with company objectives.
- Maximise customer interest and sales by arranging products attractively.
- Analyse sales data, customer feedback and market trends to forecast product needs and optimise stock ranges.
- Monitor stock movement and recommend markdowns, promotions, price adjustments or clear‑outs.
- Build constructive relationships with channel partners and customers to develop pipelines and close deals.
Required profile
- Full Grade 12 certificate.
- Minimum Certificate in Agriculture from a recognised institution.
- Experience in merchandising or related activities with farmers is an advantage.
- Excellent time‑management and attention to numerical detail.
- Strong communication skills and proven work efficiency.
