Operations & Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Operations & Supply Chain Officer will support the efficient movement of goods and services across the organisation, ensuring smooth warehouse, inventory and fleet processes. Based in Lusaka, the role combines operational oversight with strategic supply‑chain planning to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
• Oversee fleet management, scheduling vehicle use and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and analyse operational reports, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to negotiate terms and resolve issues.
• Utilise ERP/CRM systems to track orders, manage procurement and monitor performance metrics.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• At least three years of proven experience in operations support, logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control and fleet management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed.
