Prestige Customer Service Advisor

About the role

The Prestige Customer Service Advisor works in a bank branch to process teller transactions accurately and provide friendly assistance to Prestige and Premier banking customers. The role combines cash handling, issuance of account items, and frontline customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and receive cash, cheques, drafts and other financial instruments, ensuring all information is verified before processing.
• Process foreign currency transactions, bureau de change activities, and handle transactions that exceed teller limits by seeking authorisation.
• Capture all transactions in the bank’s system, count cash accurately, and follow the bank’s zero‑tolerance policy for errors.
• Assist customers with debit/credit card applications, issue cards, cheque books, PIN numbers, and provide statements and balance information.
• Update account demographics, standing order instructions, and file customer schedules and instructions.
• Provide advice on cash processes to ensure smooth transaction flow and address customer inquiries.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to verify transaction data against bank procedures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to refer concerns to the Branch Manager and follow escalation protocols.
• Ability to work accurately under the bank’s zero‑tolerance policy for teller errors.
