About the role

Trackside Learning Studio is seeking a full‑time Primary Teacher to join its small, faith‑based community in Foxdale, Lusaka. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to early primary grades, supporting afternoon activities, and nurturing a Christ‑like environment that promotes academic excellence and character development.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans across core subjects for early primary students.
• Deliver high‑quality instruction and assess student progress regularly.
• Facilitate afternoon activities that reinforce learning and promote social skills.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to continuously improve the educational experience.
• Uphold the school’s mission of developing Godly character and a biblical worldview.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching primary‑level students.
• Fluency in spoken Nyanja and experience teaching Chichewa.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and classroom‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, adaptable, and eager to acquire new skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Trackside Learning Studio.

Required skills

• Fluency in Nyanja (spoken).
• Experience teaching in Chichewa.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
