Process Operator

About the role

The Process Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining packaging equipment within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. You will work on a shift schedule to ensure production plans are met while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manual and automatic packaging machines according to standard procedures.
• Interpret and implement the production plan for each shift.
• Maintain process quality and productivity, performing 5S housekeeping at the workstation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food‑safety regulations.
• Track and monitor process performance, using PIMS and POMS systems, and take corrective actions on negative trends.
• Complete autonomous maintenance tasks and close work orders.
• Contribute to AB reports and use QFRs as required.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification (Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
• Minimum 2 years experience in packaging within the FMCG industry.
• Basic PC literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
