Purchasing Strategy Engineer

About the role

The Purchasing Strategy Engineer will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for manufacturing operations, ensuring timely supply of materials while optimizing cost and quality. You will work closely with production, warehouse, finance and other functions to drive efficient purchasing and risk‑controlled supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and coordinate full‑category purchasing demands, improving response efficiency and on‑demand supply.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality supplier resources, managing access, classification, performance appraisal and daily control.
• Implement standardized pricing mechanisms through inquiry, comparison, negotiation, bidding and sealed quotation to achieve competitive pricing.
• Track the entire purchasing cycle—from order placement to delivery, payment reconciliation and settlement closure—handling abnormal deliveries, quality issues and supplier complaints.
• Identify and mitigate risks in supplier sourcing, pricing, delivery and payment, proposing process improvements.
• Support the purchasing supervisor in training, on‑the‑job guidance and team‑building activities to raise professional competence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, preferably with MRO procurement.
• Strong capabilities in cost analysis, data statistical analysis and supplier sourcing.
• Excellent cross‑departmental communication and coordination skills.
• Meticulous, responsible and proactive attitude.
