Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will work on‑site in Lusaka, leading complex recruitment and platform‑related projects from initiation to delivery. This full‑time position is responsible for defining project scopes, timelines and budgets, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring alignment with Job Connect’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects while managing risks, dependencies and budgets.
• Lead regular project meetings, resolve issues promptly and optimise processes.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Report progress, performance metrics and risk assessments to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, technology adoption and service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with expediting functions and inspection processes.
• Strong logistics management capabilities to coordinate resources across multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification is a plus.
• Track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Background in recruitment, HR technology or platform‑based services is beneficial.
