Senior Resource Mobilisation & Partnership Manager

About the role

The Senior Resource Mobilisation & Partnership Manager leads ChildFund’s grant acquisition and partnership strategy for the Zambia Country Office. Reporting to the Country Director, this senior position is responsible for designing and executing a resource mobilisation plan that aligns with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy to meet funding targets.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities with foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, corporate partners, and individual donors.
• Lead the preparation of high‑quality proposals, concept notes and grant reports.
• Build and manage a high‑performing mobilisation team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing donors and cultivate new partnerships.
• Coordinate closely with senior management and the Global Resource Mobilisation Team to ensure alignment and achievement of funding goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Development, Public Health, Business Development, Communication or a related field.
• Significant experience in fundraising, grant acquisition, donor relations or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record of securing large‑scale funding from diverse donor types.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
