Specialist, Training - Drawing

About the role

The Specialist, Training – Drawing will lead the development and delivery of drawing training programmes across multiple trades. You will ensure that training materials, assessments and records meet internal standards and external accreditation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess progressive training in trade drawing for all seven trades.
• Plan, develop and maintain training materials and equipment specific to drawing.
• Capture, record and report on all training activities within the discipline.
• Coordinate and supervise drawing assessments and final examinations.
• Maintain training records for internal audits and TEVETA compliance.
• Manage enrolment, registration and payment processes for student examinations and staff accreditations.
• Support the preparation and administration of TEVETA examinations using LDMS.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure effective training operations.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent) certification.
• Diploma in Teaching Methodology or equivalent BTECH qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a teaching or training environment.
• Strong liaison and communication abilities.
• Computer literate with a good command of CAD software.
• Ability to coordinate examinations.
• ZAQA validated qualifications.
