Stock Controller

About the role

The Stock Controller will be based in Kapiri Mposhi and will manage inventory processes for Choppies Zambia’s retail operations. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that stock levels are optimal, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and the supply chain runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
• Reconcile stock discrepancies and investigate root causes.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and correct quantities.
• Prepare and present inventory reports and analysis to support decision‑making.
• Assist the retail team with stock‑related queries and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in stock control, inventory management or a similar role, preferably within retail.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and travel within Zambia if needed.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to obtain police clearance and a medical report.
