Superintendent Management Accountant

About the role

The Superintendent Management Accountant will enhance management reporting processes and drive efficiency across First Quantum’s operations in Kalumbila. Working closely with the business improvement team, cost accountants and various departments, the role ensures accurate financial data supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Power BI for business management reporting.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with departments to capture reporting requirements and customise Power BI solutions.
• Train and support teams in effective use of Power BI tools.
• Integrate cost data from cost accountants into Power BI and ensure accurate cost presentation.
• Identify efficiency opportunities with the business improvement team and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with strong analytical and budgeting skills.
• Proven ability to work with large databases and develop internal control systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, pay close attention to detail and uphold high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
