About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in youth discipleship and camp programming with ACTION International’s Camp Ciyanjano in Zambia. Interns will work closely with local youth workers and missionaries to develop training resources and design children’s camp activities.

Key responsibilities

Disciple and train a group of Zambian youth to disciple and evangelize children.
Develop and implement a culturally appropriate training book for Zambian youth workers.
Mentor youth workers who may become cabin counselors for the camp.
Design and execute a 3‑4 night camp program for Zambian children, including theme, games, and quiet‑time sessions.

Required profile

Strong interest in cross‑cultural mission work and youth ministry.
Willingness to live and work on site in Zambia.
Desire to learn and respect the host culture.
Ability to build relationships with youth and work collaboratively with a missionary team.
