About the role
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing day‑to‑day procurement activities, supporting bid management processes, evaluating proposals, and overseeing contract administration. This role ensures that all purchasing actions align with organizational policies and deliver value.
Key responsibilities
- Execute daily procurement tasks, including sourcing, ordering, and supplier communication.
- Assist in bid preparation, evaluation, and selection of vendors.
- Maintain and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and provide timely solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic credential.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Lusaka, Zambia.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and logistics processes.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
