Senior Financial Resources Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Resources Manager to lead the implementation and operationalisation of Financial Resource Management (FRM) frameworks within Treasury. The role will influence the bank’s balance sheet, optimise liquidity, capital and funding, and support long‑term sustainable earnings.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and operationalise FRM frameworks to ensure optimal utilisation of liquidity, capital, funding and balance‑sheet capacity.
• Provide analytics and insights on balance‑sheet structure, risk‑weighted assets, liquidity ratios, earnings quality and overall financial resource consumption.
• Support Treasury’s asset and liability management (ALM) activities with data‑driven insights to enhance pricing, funding strategies and balance‑sheet optimisation.
• Collaborate with business segments and Group Treasury to monitor adherence to FRM mandates, issue early warnings and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage high‑risk or complex FRM‑related issues and contribute to the development of FRM policies, frameworks and controls.
• Maintain the FRM secretariat for Treasury‑aligned committees, ensuring effective coordination, quality reporting and governance compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial regulations, regulatory requirements and best‑practice FRM principles.
• Develop and manage the tactical FRM budget, monitor expenditures and enforce financial controls.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, Risk, Treasury and business segment teams to align FRM priorities.
• Represent FRM in Treasury forums and use analytics to identify opportunities for funding, capital usage and balance‑sheet strategy improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Treasury, financial resource management or related finance functions.
• Ability to engage with senior management and influence balance‑sheet decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience delivering insights on liquidity, capital and risk metrics.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and internal financial controls.
• Experience managing complex, high‑risk financial projects and developing governance policies.
