Strategy Analyst

About the role

The Strategy Analyst will provide analytical and coordination support to the Strategy Department, helping to drive the execution of Zanaco Bank’s strategic priorities. Working closely with the Strategy Specialist, the analyst will track initiatives, consolidate KPI updates, prepare reports and presentations, and support stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Strategy Specialist in monitoring strategic initiatives and maintaining up‑to‑date action trackers.
• Follow up with business units on deliverables, timelines, supporting documents and status updates.
• Consolidate data for monthly, quarterly and board‑level reporting.
• Maintain KPI trackers, ensure timely and accurate submissions from business units, and support basic data analysis and validation.
• Initiate purchase requisitions, process payments and support budget tracking for the Strategy and Data team.
• Conduct desktop research, competitor scans and analysis to generate insights for decision‑making.
• Develop high‑quality, data‑backed presentations and reports aligned with the bank’s strategy.
• Coordinate logistics and documentation for key events such as AGM, Shareholder Day and strategy sessions.
• Act as a liaison between the Strategy Department and internal stakeholders, tracking requests and feedback.

Required profile

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits, including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Administration or a related field.
