Temporary General Worker

About the role

The Temporary General Worker will provide essential support within a busy warehouse environment. This role focuses on safe and efficient handling of goods, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. You will work closely with the logistics team to maintain order and safety throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Tar and untar trucks to protect cargo during transport.
• Sort and strip products, preparing them for storage or shipment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the yard and warehouse areas.
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
• Support packing, labeling, and dispatch of goods.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to handle manual lifting and prolonged standing.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and report hazards.
• Reliability and punctuality for shift-based work.
• Team‑oriented attitude to collaborate with warehouse staff.
