Warehouse & Tuck-Shop Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse & Tuck‑Shop Assistant supports the Finance Department by managing inventory and providing courteous service in the on‑site tuck‑shop. This full‑time entry‑level position ensures smooth stock flow and a pleasant shopping experience for staff, caregivers and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Warehouse duties: receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders, record and update stock levels in the inventory system, organize and store items safely, issue stock to departments, monitor low or expiring items, maintain cleanliness, assist with regular stock counts and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
• Tuck‑shop duties: serve customers courteously, operate the cash register with accurate cash handling and receipting, replenish shelves and create attractive displays, monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock, keep the area clean and hygienic, reconcile daily sales and submit cash to Finance, and help identify fast‑moving and slow‑moving items for restocking decisions.
