Credit Controller – Lusaka, Zambia

About the role

The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing premium collections and ensuring accurate accounting of client payments for an insurance operation in Lusaka. This role requires close interaction with clients to maintain strong relationships while safeguarding the company’s cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Collect premiums from clients and ensure timely receipting.
• Accurately allocate and reconcile payments against client accounts.
• Issue premium reminders and generate regular client statements.
• Monitor outstanding premiums and maintain an up‑to‑date aged receivables report.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships while ensuring adherence to payment obligations.
• Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned.

Required profile

• Grade 12 pass.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; insurance industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
